TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE TOURS
Full Day Sandoval Lake
Arriving to the Sandoval entrance point we will walk for around 1 and ½ hour to the Lake port passing the National Reserve of Tambopata where we have to register. The walk is a very interesting opportunity to learn about the rainforest ecosystem with the help of a professional Jungle Guide, which will show you birds, monkeys and medicinal plants around the path that leads to the Sandoval Lake port.
Arriving to the Lake we will board a wooden canoe to go around the Sandoval Lake to spot the Giant River Otters, monkeys, different bird species like Hoatzins, Cocoi herons, Cormorans, Anhingas, King fishers, etc. The tour around the lake last in average 1 and ½ hours.
