Day 1

Reception at the Airport or the Terrestrial Terminal, according to arrival times. Transfer to our offices, to re pack, the essential things to travel to the Lodge. Transfer to the New Port of Infierno and from that point to Explorer’s Inn in a trip of 1 and ½ hour up the Tambopata River, in which you can see different species of fauna such as Herons, Macaws, River Turtles or Capybaras, among others. A box lunch will be provided on board. Upon the arrival at the Lodge, rooms will be assigned after an introductory briefing on the facilities available at the Lodge and, the Night Walk activity will be schedule in order to observe insects and wildlife that are active at this time. This day ends with the dinner service and an introductory lecture on the Amazon Basin given by its Jungle Guide..

Day 2

This day starts with breakfast and then the visit to Tres Chimbadas or Cocococha Lake, as scheduled. This first excursion can start at 8:30 if it is at Tres Chimbadas or at 5:30 am if it is at Lake Cocococha and last between 4 to 6 hours, depending on the wildlife activity in the Lakes. Return to the lodge, for lunch around 1 in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, at 3:30 in the afternoon, a visit will be made to the 46 m Gas Tower, activity that allows us to understand the 5 levels in which the forest is structured. This activity lasts on average 1 and ½ hours.

At 5:00 pm. There will be a talk given by a University Professor on the Ecology of the Forest and the Local Culture or a Theme so as to better understand how biodiversity works in this Region and what cultural elements define the culture of our Amazon rainforest in the Mother of God Region.

Then the following activity starts before dinner time at 6:15 p.m. In the Lodge Dining Room, there will be a talk about Caimans or “Caiman Talk” that lasts an average of 20 minutes and that deals with explaining the natural history and ethology of the Caymans, then at 6:30 the excursion is made in Boat to see Caimans that are nocturnal hunters. This activity lasts an average of 1 hour and the return is finished with dinnerer.

Day 3

We have breakfast at 7:30 am and then leave at 8:30 to Puerto Maldonado where we will arrive around 10:00 am. And in this way we finished the Tour.
