 In 1975 PERUVIAN SAFARIS S.A. began as a Travel Agency and the following year we inaugurated the first Eco-Tourist Lodge in the Amazon part of Peru – the Explorer's Inn, which for over thirty years became the custodian of the original Reserved Zone of Tambopata of 5,500 hectares, today the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park, which both protect more than a million hectares of the tropical forest of the Amazon. The Explorer's Inn is the only lodge wholly located within the Reserve.
In the year 2000 we decided to open AMAZONIA TOURS SAC and to take advantage of all the experience gained through the many years that PERUVIAN SAFARIS had been the owner in charge of the management of the EXPLORER'S INN. Now, after all these decades of experience we have decided to go to the following step, offering our services online through our new Web Site and we cordially invite you to take advantage of our verified experience in fulfilling the highest expectations of all of our guest.
